Mahama Gonzales, Licensed Virginia REALTOR with nearly 20 years combined experience in real estate
and finance. She is a native of California and a fur mommy to a spoiled little pooch named Prynce.
Mahama moved to Virginia Beach by way of San Diego in 1996 as surgical assistant in the medical field.
Mahama changed careers and proved herself to be a successful loan officer for 6 years and in 2006 she
became a licensed REALTOR.
Mahama grew up with an appreciation for what makes a house a home such as well manicured yards
and developed neighborhoods. She is also passionate about helping those less fortunate and In 2010
Mahama was touched by someone’s story found out she was a match and without hesitation donated
one of her Kidneys to an anonymous recipient so they could have a chance at living out a full life.
Although, Mahama does not speak much about this generous and selfless gift of life it is truly a
testament of where her heart is and proof that her willingness to go above and beyond is more than just
Building trust with those she serves is something that has always come naturally for Mahama and she
has found success because it’s the relationship that she values more than making the sale. It’s very
important to her that her clients and customers trust her. She wants them to feel comfortable and well
protected when working with her. One thing they can be sure of is Mahama is always looking out for
their best interest. She knows from her experience as a REALTOR and a lender that a real estate
transaction can be complicated and confusing if you do not have the right real estate professionals on
your side. As a REALTOR Mahama holds herself to a higher standard and accepts nothing less than the
best for those she serves and that is something she will never compromise.
